About Wicklow Heritage

Our Wicklow Heritage is an initiative of the County Wicklow Heritage Plan, co-ordinated through the Heritage Office of Wicklow County Council. We have created a platform through this site to promote the heritage recording efforts of local communities in county Wicklow, and the collections and activities of the councils’ archives, libraries, heritage and cultural services. Our Wicklow Heritage and the associated community heritage networks are part of the Irish Community Archive Network (ICAN). This initiative is supported by the National Museum of Ireland, The Creative Ireland Programme, Wicklow County Council and The Heritage Council. Over time we hope to welcome new members; if your group would like to get involved, please contact us.
